What a wonderful and intense 3 days spent in Utrecht last week at the Global Shrimp Forum. More than 300 companies and organizations from across the value chain joining forces with the same intentions: More sustainable and more healthy shrimps.
As a feed ingredient supplier, we, Entobelers sometimes feel like we are not part of a fully integrated system. But how wrong this feeling is. It was heartwarming to see how retailers, seafood importers, or even farmers on the other side of the world joined the insect session and how important it is to them that shrimps are grown sustainably. More importantly, how end consumers seem to pick up the pace and ask for that sustainability.
