Founding team
Alexandre de Caters and Gaetan Crielaard, business students in Belgium, were set to graduate in 2012.
During a Montreal exchange program, they bonded and shared a desire to address the global protein shortage. Their research on feeding a growing population led them to explore insects as a protein source.
